In late 2019 to early 2020 the project will hold a series of focus groups with teachers to explore successful strategies they use when making a change from a traditional to innovative spaces.
These focus groups invite teachers to provide input to the ILETC project by sharing their successful practices in changing from traditional to more innovative spaces.
The project team will share their recent findings and ongoing work in developing resources to support teachers to maximise the potential of their classroom spaces. Teachers will participate in a design thinking activity, developed by our team members at Monash University Department of Design, which explores the journey of change from traditional to innovative spaces.
Teachers will receive a copy of the activity to take back and share with their schools and ILETC publications. Afternoon tea will be provided.
These focus groups have received ethics approval from the University of Melbourne and state Departments of Education in Queensland, NSW, South Australia and ACT. Each participant will be provided with a copy of the plain language statement and consent form.
