Transitions 18 in Melbourne will be held at the Forum Theatre, Lvl 1 Arts West North Building, The University of Melbourne. The Arts West redevelopment won awards for excellence in educational facilities at the 2017 Annual Learning Environments Australasia (LEA) Awards.
The building is located on the Royal Parade side of the Parkville campus and is accessible from Professor’s Walk, Medical Road and the Baillieu Library.
By Public Transport: We encourage you to use public transport, walk or ride as first options. From the CBD you can take most trams along Swanston Street heading towards the University, alighting at Stop 1.
You can also take Tram 19 to North Coburg, from Elizabeth Street, alighting at Stop 11 (University/Royal Parade).

By Car : Traffic around the University is currently restricted due to the closure of Grattan Street for construction of the new train station. If you are driving, Melbourne University’s car park can be entered from 244 Bouverie St or entrance at 206 Berkeley St (just off Grattan Street). This car park is occasionally closed to the public from 9:30am, so ensure
you get in early. A flat rate of $20 per day will be charged upon exit. Exiting the car park from the lifts, you will
need to walk across the University Square Park to the conference centre. For further car parks check the university website.
There are also a number of metered car parks on Royal Parade and Grattan Street.
